Christopher Moutafis

LAWYER

I am a Solicitor in the Common Law team at One Law, practising predominantly in personal injury litigation. I represent clients across a broad range of matters, including work injury damages, motor accident claims, public liability, occupiers liability, medical negligence and civil litigation. I manage a substantial caseload, regularly appear before the Personal Injury Commission and the Courts, and work closely with counsel to achieve the best possible outcomes for my clients.

I am committed to providing clear, practical legal advice with professionalism, empathy and meticulous attention to detail. I understand that legal disputes often arise during some of the most challenging periods in a person’s life, and I strive to guide my clients through the legal process with confidence, clarity and compassion.

I was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2024. My qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law, a Master of Education from the University of Technology Sydney, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Archaeology from the University of Sydney.

Outside of legal practice, I maintain a strong passion for archaeology. Before becoming a lawyer, I worked as an archaeologist and participated in archaeological excavations in both Australia and Greece during my twenties. My enduring interest in history, culture and research continues to influence my analytical approach to legal practice and reflects a lifelong curiosity about people, societies and the development of civilisation.
