———— 02. HOW WE CAN HELP YOU

    We Make it Simple

    01. Meet With Us

We will meet with you at a time and place that is convenient for you. We will discuss the circumstances of your request for a visa for your family member and how we will go about making an application on your family member’s behalf.

    02. Review Your Family Member's Information

We will review information supplied by you in relation to your family member who wishes to come to Australia. We may also need to speak to your family member and ask him or her some questions. We will consider the immigration law that applies to your family member’s case and determine whether he or she has a valid opportunity to seek a family visa for residence in Australia.

    03. Commence Drafting Application for Family Visa

We will gather all the information required to apply for the visa for your family member. The documents will need to be signed by you and your family member.

    04. Lodge Application for Family Visa

When the application is completed, we will lodge it with the Department of Immigration and Border Protection. Some applications can take up to 10 years to process. Unfortunately the processing time is out of our control.

    05. Review Outcome of Family Visa Application and Determine Next Steps

If the family visa application is approved, your family member will be able to come and live in Australia. If it is rejected, there may in some cases be an opportunity to dispute the rejection in a Court or Tribunal. If this happens, we will advise you as to whether we think you have a chance of succeeding if we dispute the decision. You and your family member can then decide how you would like to go forward.
